A nadie, incluyendo Ayuntamiento de Calafell<\/strong><\/a>, negocios\u00a0y residentes del pueblo, se le pasa ya por alto que el cuidado del medio ambiente est\u00e1 tomando cada vez m\u00e1s relevancia y el turismo es un sector que se ha visto involucrado. Al igual que muchas de las empresas que se autodenominan responsables socialmente tanto por las acciones realizadas durante su actividad econ\u00f3mica como por las acreditaciones obtenidas mediante organizaciones certificadas, ha aparecido un nuevo concepto en este sector: el turismo responsable.<\/p>

Turismo sostenible en Calafell, un objetivo<\/span><\/h2>

La primera imagen que nos formamos al hablar de este tipo de turismo es el relacionado con el medio ambiente, un error muy com\u00fan, ya que no solo abarca temas de sostenibilidad<\/strong> con los recursos naturales, sino que tambi\u00e9n hace referencia a aspectos de car\u00e1cter social y econ\u00f3mico.<\/p>

Teniendo en cuenta que la mayor afluencia tur\u00edstica en Calafell se produce en periodo estival, desde Ayuntamiento y concretamente desde la Oficina de Turismo, se realizan grandes esfuerzos a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o para otorgar a su playa, casco antiguo y negocios el car\u00e1cter ecol\u00f3gico y sostenible que no s\u00f3lo demanda con car\u00e1cter cada vez m\u00e1s creciente la sociedad, sino que tambi\u00e9n empieza a exigir el propio ecosistema de nuestras costas y montes.<\/p>

Responsabilidad del Destino<\/span><\/h3>

Se considera que un destino act\u00faa bajo los criterios del turismo responsable cuando, entre muchos ejemplos, ambientalmente no sobrepasa la capacidad de carga de los recursos naturales de la zona, cuando socialmente las empresas del destino invierten en proyectos sociales<\/strong> y cuando \u00e9stas mismas permiten la igualdad de g\u00e9nero en las retribuciones salariales de sus trabajadores y trabajadoras.<\/p>

Est\u00e1 claro que aunque el objetivo no es sencillo, Calafell no es considerado un destino \u00abconformista\u00bb y su apuesta por mejorar en este \u00e1rea es clara y constante. Queda mucho por hacer, pero el camino ya ha empezado a recorrerse hace un tiempo a esta parte y el pueblo as\u00ed lo agradece.<\/p>

Responsabilidad del Turista<\/span><\/h3>

Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hay del papel del turista? De la misma manera que un destino tur\u00edstico debe hacerse cargo de sus infraestructuras y equipamientos para el bien de la sostenibilidad, el turista ejerce el papel fundamental para escoger qu\u00e9 tipo de turismo va a realizar.<\/p>

Suponiendo que tratamos el \u00e1mbito medioambiental<\/strong>, el turista tiene en sus manos la potestad de acudir a destinos tur\u00edsticos con un entorno muy fr\u00e1gil y disfrutar de \u00e9ste mediante infraestructuras que no previenen ni consideran relevante el cuidado de los recursos naturales de la zona o bien informarse de la manera en que su huella en el destino tenga un impacto muy leve o nulo.<\/p>

Est\u00e1 claro que todos hemos viajado y visitado alg\u00fan bonito lugar y nuestro impacto negativo en \u00e9l ha dependido de nuestro comportamiento durante dicha visita. Somos responsables directos del cuidado o deterioro de nuestro entorno y al igual que exigimos que destinos y alojamientos tengan un m\u00ednimo de conciencia ecol\u00f3gica o sostenible, a nosotros nos toca dar ejemplo.<\/p>

Car\u00e1cter social del Turismo<\/span><\/h2>

Cu\u00e1nto al car\u00e1cter social, un ejemplo podr\u00eda ser el del turismo sexual en pa\u00edses como Tailandia. Si bien son pa\u00edses muy conocidos por este tipo de turismo, como turista hay que ser consciente de que puede darse el caso de incentivar la explotaci\u00f3n infantil y el tr\u00e1fico de personas, entre otros. Otro ejemplo de car\u00e1cter social y m\u00e1s reciente es el caso de las \u201cKellys\u201d, nombre que identifica a una asociaci\u00f3n de mujeres que ejercen su trabajo como camareras de pisos en hoteles y cuya reivindicaci\u00f3n se basa, a grandes trazos, en defender sus derechos laborales. Es por ello, que recientemente han pedido a p\u00e1ginas como Trip Advisor que indiquen qu\u00e9 hoteles no respetan el trabajo digno de este colectivo. As\u00ed pues, el alojamiento en hoteles que cumplan con el derecho laboral de sus trabajadores es considerado, tambi\u00e9n, un turismo responsable.<\/p>

As\u00ed pues, queda en las manos de los propios turistas decidir si sus vacaciones influir\u00e1n en el turismo responsable y qu\u00e9 empresas o infraestructuras se encargar\u00e1n de ello, sin dejar de tener en cuenta que el propio destino tur\u00edstico debe ser, a su vez, consciente de su funcionamiento sostenible y en Calafell, lo somos cada vez m\u00e1s.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
